Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising teams of staff responsible for receiving and dispatching orders, stock movements and replenishment plus general warehouse duties on our split warehouse site.<\/p>\n

Main responsibilities:<\/b><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Deputising for Warehouse Managers when absent<\/li>\n
  • Overseeing picking and packing of orders<\/li>\n
  • Processing orders on courier system, generating dispatch labels<\/li>\n
  • Resolving issues with other departments regarding orders<\/li>\n
  • Receiving and dispatching stock<\/li>\n
  • Maintenance of overview of stock levels and locations in all warehouses<\/li>\n
  • Stock movements & replenishments using FLT \/ counterbalance truck<\/li>\n
  • Stock counts and investigation of discrepancies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Essential knowledge \/ experience:<\/b><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Experience of supervising and disciplining staff<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of Microsoft systems + Sage 200 experience<\/li>\n
    • GSCE or equivalent Maths & English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Required Skills:<\/b><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Flexibility in working hours<\/li>\n
      • Good timekeeping<\/li>\n
      • Ability to work using own initiative; under pressure and to tight deadlines<\/li>\n
      • Capable of prioritising both their own and team members workloads<\/li>\n
      • Good Attention to detail<\/li>\n
      • Works well in a team environment<\/li>\n
      • Capability to motivate team members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • \u00a330,000 negotiable depending on experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
