The Group has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced, ambitious, highly motivated and commercially minded Head of Finance to join the Head Office team near Selby.<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Group CFO and supported by an experienced Finance team, the successful candidate will manage a critical business function and continuously develop efficient processes, effective controls and insightful reporting, to add value and facilitate GBUK\u2019s future success.<\/p>\n

The Head of Finance will also play a vital \u2018group wide\u2019 role in delivering GBUK\u2019s next phase of rapid growth, which will include significant international expansion and M&A activity.<\/p>\n

A strong performance provides the opportunity to secure a Finance Director title and the possibility of equity shares, making it a superb opportunity for a proactive, hardworking, career driven candidate, who can perform at a strategic level and has the ability to deliver in a fast-paced Private Equity driven environment.<\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities:<\/b><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Delivery of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and board pack<\/li>\n
  • Treasury control of cash and working capital to ensure covenant compliance<\/li>\n
  • External reporting via quarterly investor reports and annual statutory accounts<\/li>\n
  • Owner of the external annual audit process and internal audit compliance<\/li>\n
  • Tax compliance for UK and overseas entities<\/li>\n
  • Administration of group banking arrangements and credit facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Qualifications:<\/b><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Qualified accountant, PQE 5+ years (ACA\/ACCA\/CIMA)<\/li>\n
    • Finance function leadership<\/li>\n
    • Private Equity backed business experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable Qualifications:<\/b><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • International reporting and tax experience<\/li>\n
      • Mergers & acquisition experience<\/li>\n
      • Microsoft Dynamics BC experience<\/li>\n
      • Medical \/ Healthcare experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Skills:<\/b><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Advanced Excel skills<\/li>\n
        • Able to drive initiatives with senior stakeholders at director level<\/li>\n
        • Financial modelling, macro and SQL experience<\/li>\n
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
        • Skilled in cash flow management and forecasting<\/li>\n
        • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n
        • Able to work calmly under pressure; flexible and adaptable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Salary:<\/h4>\n

          \u00a365,000.00-\u00a375,000.00 per year depending on experience<\/p>\n
